Neasa Hardiman is an internationally acclaimed Irish writer, director and producer. At her seminar, she will be speaking about her work and the practicalities of 'climbing the ladder to success'. Neasa is a truly great speaker full of positive energy, so prepare to be inspired to go and be creative!

About Neasa:

Neasa’s early work includes over thirty documentaries with RTE as well as writing, producing and directing award-winning work for theatre. Neasa started out in visual art, exhibiting in Berlin and Amsterdam, and her award-winning art film forms part of the permanent collection at the Irish Museum of Modern Art.

Neasa’s drama work has screened in competition at A-list festivals across the world, as well as on television in Europe and the US. Her experience includes a BAFTA win in 2010 and nomination in 2012, two RTS awards as well as numerous international prizes. Most recently she was awarded the Best First Feature Screenplay prize at the London Film Awards for her sci-fi thriller Sea Fever.

In addition to film making, Neasa’s a Founder Director of Language Communications. She also acts as an Advisor on film at European level, working with the Media programme of the European Union and speaking internationally. Her interest in learning more about what she does has led to two Masters’ degrees and a nearly-complete PhD in Film at Trinity College Dublin.
